So we woke up to a great breakfast in the hotel, desparatly searching for the reason we all had thick heads. We are sure we only ordered one bottle of wine, but examining the evidential photos did yield a explanation....
Left the hotel and within minutes we came across a road closed sign, and the workmen were quite adamant about it. So a 45 minute detour was necessary, but in fairness, the quality of the roads were excellent so we all agreed it was an unexpected bonus.
Quick coffee stop about 2 hours in....
It was just getting too steep for the havily loaded bikes we were on. Turning around would have prooven to be too difficult once we left the sanctuary of this flat area, so we retraced our steps and headed straight for the hotel, arriving 6.30 pm.
I think it would be fair to say the long ride had taken its toll and there was a distinct lack of conversation amongst our members tonight ... so one final beer with the truckers next to our hotel, and bed by 11.
This evening, we had booked into what was essentailly a huge truck-stop on the French/Spanish border. Reception informed us there was a pub close by, but it ended up being a meal and beers in the restaurant of huge shopping mall.

The weather looks fantastic for You guys! Lucky Men. Food is looking good also!
