Great night in the Split hotel with the bikes being safely stored in a two-tier parking system ... thankfully they didnt raise it.
The night in Split was really great and I think we clocked up the most expensive meal bill so far!
Rode on throught the mountains to enter Bosnia without any issues.
Had a coffee & ice cream overlooking the famous Mostar Old Bridge, but were too lazy to walk over it.
Followed by lunch, then more great roads onto Dubrovnik.
After a trudge thru the city, we eventually located the spot, and what a hovel it turned out to be ... 
Bit of a disaster with the room and parking, not that its Dave fault .... the owner of the "house" we rented charged us 40 Euros for safe parking of the bikes ... we assumed a garage but was just a driveway of his mates house. He then took us in his cramped car, to drop us outside the gates of the walled city.
.... I,m sure there was more room in one of Her Majestys prisons. No towels, dirty sheets, tiny bog (and shared amongst the 4 of us an another couple staying in the same place).
Ah well, plenty of beer wud assist in the sleeping and I recall me & Dave were the last in a bar, getting chucked out about 2am.
Aplogies, getting a day behind in the blog .... but we made Elbasan the next day, and all good to date. More to follow when time permits.
